SUMMARY

The State in the modern world is the true god for a large section of humans. Instead of seeking God's help and guidance, quite a few look to the state for various needs. Some states provide 'cradle to grave' needs in numerous countries of the world.

There is absolutely nothing in the Quran which supports a concept of ‘Islamic state’. The adherents of an ‘Islamic state’ seek political power with the same organization and structure like the Marxists, fascists and socialists.
