What does the Quran say about following Hadith and Sunnah?

The Quran states that it is authored by God [10:37]. Muhammad was simply the prophet whom God chose to reveal it and write it down [17:105-107]. While God commands us to follow and obey His messenger or prophet, this does not mean that we should hold the messenger in higher regard than God Almighty. When the Quran states that it is complete and fully detailed, that everything we need for our salvation is to be found in the Quran, seeking religious guidance from another source and upholding it as a source of religious law is nothing more than allowing Satan to dupe us into believing that God alone is not sufficient for us. The Quran states that it is the only authentic Hadith, that is, it is the sayings of God, from God, by God, delivered through a messenger of His choosing. The sayings of God are the only authentic Hadith, and not the sayings of the messenger [39:23] [45:6] [52:34] [68:44] [77:50].

Only God Can Author the Quran
[10:37] This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe.

[39:27] We have cited for the people every kind of example in this Quran, that they may take heed.

[39:28] An Arabic Quran, without any ambiguity, that they may be righteous.

[39:29] GOD cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (Hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same? Praise be to GOD; most of them do not know.

[6:114] Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?* Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

[10:37] This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe.

[7:185] Have they not looked at the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all the things GOD has created? Does it ever occur to them that the end of their life may be near? Which Hadith, beside this, do they believe in?

[12:111] In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.

[31:6] Among the people, there are those who uphold baseless Hadith, and thus divert others from the path of GOD without knowledge, and take it in vain. These have incurred a shameful retribution.

[39:23] GOD has revealed herein the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for GOD's message. Such is GOD's guidance; He bestows it upon whoever wills (to be guided). As for those sent astray by GOD, nothing can guide them.

[39:29] GOD cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (Hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same? Praise be to GOD; most of them do not know.

[45:6] These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe?

[52:34] Let them produce a Hadith like this, if they are truthful.

[68:44] Therefore, let Me deal with those who reject this Hadith; we will lead them on whence they never perceive.

[77:50] Which Hadith, other than this, do they uphold?
